João is a photographer and director based in Lisbon, with roots in London. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, he has experience working across various formats, including commercial work, music videos, documentaries, and visual poems. His projects blends authenticity with emotional depth, offering unique perspectives on youth and self-discovery.
His work, even across diverse mediums, is consistently drawn to the quiet defiance and delicate beauty of self-discovery. This search for authenticity and emotional depth extends to his fashion and commercial work, where he is drawn to capture the transformative moments of youth on the cusp of adulthood.
